Kevin, I read this book and the ending baffled me. Did Jenny take over Elizabeth's life? Is that it? What else am I missing? Also, if you want to read Elise, I have a digital copy if you're interested. How could I get in touch with you?
I'm also looking for "The Voice Outside" that would be my last one from Ken Grimwood but I can't find it anywhere. I think there's one in some library in the US
Hey, thanks for commenting. My email is kevinmims@sbcglobal.net. People have tried to message me directly through the Substack app but I am too techno-illiterate to access it. So feel free to email me.
If I recall correctly your interpretation of the ending was my interpretation. Although I believe it’s possible that Grimwood intended some ambiguity there. He probably wanted to leave it open to a couple of interpretations. I will reread the ending and see if I missed something.
I actually found a copy of Elise for sale on eBay last year for very little money and bought it. Only after ordering it did I realize that I had purchased an electronic copy of the book 🤦♂️. I don’t read books on electronic devices so I haven’t read Elise yet. Still holding out hope that someone will reissue it in a cheap paperback edition. But I appreciate your offer.

Sounds good, but the pdf material in it gives me a squish feeling.
Good review, Kevin. Keep 'em coming.
